Stretched Canvases

Often when buying paintings, the canvases will come rolled up without the support bars, or “stretcher bars” that give a canvas its shape and stability. The next step in getting your art wall-ready is canvas stretching.  We custom-make stretcher bars to perfectly fit each canvas, and we brace them for added strength and stability.

As framers and artists, we love stretching canvases, because the transformation is magical.  No canvas is too big or too small. Delicate canvases that have been damaged by time and storage need a special touch and we are ready to give them the care and attention they require. Canvases that have loosened over time can be re-stretched to restore their shape and appearance.
